This process will allow farmers to compare themselves to the top 10% or 50% in the country. Over and under spendings are identified. Cost of a litre of milk for top 10% farmer. Cost per litre of milk, per kg of beef and per hectare are identified. This is a very useful service as it identifies areas of overspending and underspending. For example, a farmer with a very high spend on concentrates and low fertilizer usage may need to focus on producing more cheaper grass.
